Mapleton Elementary, Mapleton Local SchoolsNew Building; Same Old Control IssuesMapleton Elementary School looked beautiful, but not to administrators who saw the high utility bills it generated. Staff and students weren't thrilled either - room temperatures varied up to 8 degrees from setpoint, which made rooms uncomfortably warm or cold. CCG Automation installed a new temperature control system that improved comfort and dramatically reduced utility costs. Temperature is controlled to within one-tenth of one degree of setpoint. Lesson learned: There are options available so you don't have to settle for poor quality from a low bid. Success Points:
